From My Soul to Yours

As I embark this wonderful journey, I take an opportunity to Thank You for being a companion along. As we choose our respective routes, our course might be easy or tough depending on how we perceive it. The ultimate goal is to reach our Final destinations. I wish and pray each one of our journey is Meaningful, Enlightening, Purposeful and enriched with Love and Abundance.

Failure ~ Biggest teacher of all times

“Just when the Caterpillar thought the world was ending, it turned into a butterfly.”

Let’s be honest to self and admit that ‘Failed’ is one heavy word. Failure is often perceived as a road block or setback .We either have a hard time accepting it, or we often sink in negative thoughts of ‘why me’?

Denial can help us escape for a short while, kind of buys us some extra time but doesn’t stick for long. The moment acceptance hits, it hits hard! Failure be it big or small, has plenty other facets to itself. Once failed, few of us try to win the battle again, provided we get the opportunity while others just quit. People, who believe in re-trying usually have a different perspective towards failure, may be they have tasted victories over failures in the past; that they know that failing is not the end of the road. In either circumstance they do have the courage and determination to get over the fact that they failed, they put their act together and try again. And who knows, probably this time for success.

“Don’t let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning” Robert Kiyosaki

For few of us, life is more about what others have to say, their opinion, their viewpoint. That’s when we are more concerned about their take on our failure than our own. That is when guilt, shame, rejection come into play. Often we are so focused on others that these lessons of life which could have be easily learned now become so tough as we invest significant amount of energy and time conquering those battles before we address and manage the real problem

Imagine this, you were walking on the sidewalk on a rainy day and accidently you just slipped. The street was fairly empty with no one around .It is very natural for most of us to get up, gather ourselves and continue walking in such as situation. Now imagine the same scenario but this time with a lot of people on the street, watching over you as you slipped and fell on the floor, it will be relatively difficult for you to get up and walk with the same ease this time, as in the previous case. The sense of embarrassment is certainly more active now than in the previous situation when no one was watching you fall. The outside world has a huge impact on us.

The ones who succeed after they once failed in the past are the ones who surely have some better understanding over the situation. They now happen to know one more thing (since they have tasted success and failure both) in comparison to those who succeeded in the first attempt (just tasted success) This does not mean it is pertinent to fail in order to better comprehend the situation. But if ever one fails, it need not necessarily be a negative thing.

“I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work ” Thomas A Edison

Let us try to be better at accepting, accommodating and realizing that ‘Failing’ is not the end. Some doors will open, it is time to hang on and re evaluate, re assess and re dive into the pool of endless opportunities and this time be better prepared to handle success or failure for any experience is enriching. No wonder they say practice makes you perfect, the more the trials, the better clarity, understanding and closer to perfection.

“Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful” Joshua J. Marine

For people who have failed, just hold on and try to look on the other side of the mountain. There must be a reason why this happened and probably a good reason. Don’t give up soon enough, you are worth trying again and again and yet again if needed in order to succeed because in the end it is between You and Your Soul, no one can replace that equation. If you encounter failure it is here to bring you good in some way, so allow yourself to brace up, try again for a victory close enough, and do not get lost, finding these answers in others eyes.

“Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor” Truman Capote

Don’t give up yet, keeping walking even if others see you fall. Wish you the courage to succeed over your failures. May all your experiences of success and failures be enriching, for nothing works in isolation.

Keep Calm – An understatement?

In today’s world ‘Keep Calm’ is quite an understatement. The excessive usage of this phrase makes us take it for granted. For keeping calm is a big deal!! Well, if not for all then for most of us.

We are full of restlessness, anxiety, self-doubt, that no matter how hard we try to cover it, it still shows. While some of us try real hard to keep this under wraps and some others don’t give a damn after a point but we should accept that most of us do have bubbling restlessness which doesn’t let us KEEP CALM.

As we lead through our lives, we are so engrossed to fulfill our petty pleasures that we simply miss looking at the larger picture. What is this ‘Larger picture ‘which they refer to? Is it the potential luxuries we own in life or the asset worth of person? Material wealth or Spiritual wealth? It may mean different things to different people.

Well to me, ‘Larger picture’ is like a third person’s outlook at my Life. It means an overall estimation of the highs and lows I have gone through/or yet going through. It means the Ultimate balance sheet of how well I am doing on the Life graph – positive vs negative. It is mere perspective.

If the goal is to taste peace not only towards the end of this trip but also when we are sailing through the journey called Life, then why don’t we try to take it slow? Why do we rush through things? Why can’t we actively try to imbibe the goodness in the simplest forms and KEEP CALM?

For what matters in the end, is how good we feel as we move inch by inch closer to our final destinations. What do you feel?

I wish the Calm to you!

“Que Sarah Sarah.. What will be, will be..”

The future is up in the air, whatever happens will happen. Sounds scary but yet brings some relief, every time we hear it. Immense power lies in positivism, being positive about the fact that the future will unfold itself, that you need not to worry as whatever it is will come ahead of us .

Few of us might say, we make our own future so whatever lies ahead of us is the result of our own actions. In my view, that is true for most of the times however I never underestimate the role of destiny. We play a pivotal role in making our own destinies yet there are times when things just happen – on its own! We may name it anything such as coincidence, super power, luck, destiny, fate, so on and so forth. I do firmly believe that things happen for a reason. I confess I am a believer – yes I do believe in power of magic, miracle, and super power, whatever you want to name it.  It is hard at times to put such things into words. So for people who are believers, “ Que sarah sarah “ brings relief, satisfaction. Not all can be wrong! Things Will turn out well.. It may take long, but they will.oxeye-daisy-flower-ox-eye-white-45901

The other aspect of this is – You cannot control everything! You may create, control a few things or let’s say most things in your life but not everything which happens to you/ with you, is all you. At times it is your circumstances, your environment, your external forces working for you/ against you – can you ever overlook those?

For some believers it may also reflect as, ‘let us be hopeful’. Let there be some ‘looking forward to’. Let us wait for the magic, miracle to happen. Let us see what does the future hold. People like to be surprised. People look forward to see if things work out well or not. There is always an element of excitement for the ‘wait and watch’.

All in all, it brings me Faith, hope and relief. Wish the ‘Calm’, to you too.

The Little Things…

In this fast pace world where each one of us is busy chasing our personal goals we are left with no time to ourselves, to even pause for minute, to catch a breath and to realize how wonderful the world is!

It was long before when we used to sit and embrace the lives we had, the comforts, the peace and bliss. As of today, we seem lost in chaotic world so much so that there is no time for embracing the mother nature, neither to breathe nor enjoy the abundance.

Most of us have enough resources to lead comfortable lives however still we lack the ability of realizing it, we keep making even tighter and tougher financial goals sometimes which are even far away from reality to bring us what we want which is, sheer Happiness.

Miesha Moriniere

Money may bring power, it may bring luxury however still doesn’t promise to bring us joy.

Aren’t we missing on the Little things…?

Let’s take a break from the daily hustle and breathe, feel the breeze, embrace the beloved ones around us, be filled with gratitude and enjoy these little things which actually make us rich!

I wish you abundance. More than that I wish you the ability to embrace the abundance you’re blessed with!
